All alone. They jumped over the side and left me. :(

Anchored off a lee shore by Nahant last weekend. We visited a total of 7 different spots, some for no longer than the time it takes to get to the bottom, look around at a vast expanse of sand dollars and head back up, other sites were worth jotting down the numbers.

On the final dive of the day I found an anchor. Shot it to the top and continued on my way. I eventually worked my way back to the boat and came across my anchor line. I still had a ton of air so I headed out in the opposite direction. Hadn't gone far at all when I found ANOTHER anchor. I only had the one lift bag on me so I cut the line on the abandoned anchor extra long, swam the anchor back to my anchor and tied it off. When I popped up next to the boat my wife could tell from my smirk that I'd had a good dive so she starts quizzing me as I'm kicking my way back along the side.
"What did you get? Lobster? Scallops?"
"A few of each."
"Just a few? What did you shoot with the bag? How come you've got that grin on your face?"
"Guess."
"An anchor?"
"Nope. Two."

Two Danforths, five bugs and a mess of scallops was a nice days work.
