Very large surface area of that hose (vs a tiny 2mm surface area on a valve seat). Helium will leak out through the pores in the plastic liner (not sure its PFTE or something else) and your mix with gradually change via the loss of helium over weeks or months. There is no flexible plastic material that is completely impermeable to helium since its such a tiny atom.Okay.....why does it leak helium? Is it a PTFE line hose?
