I am considering making my own Log Book pages. There is only one problem that I can foresee... When I print out anything with my computer/printer, it only takes 1 drop of water to make the printer ink smear.
Do I need to use a different type of paper? Is there any type of spray coating that the pages can be sprayed with to keep this from happening? What do you people do?

PH6,

Given all the hassle of doing something like that, I think I'd just opt for the commercially printed log sheets.

But, I understand the desire for customization.

A Laser printer, if where you work has one? That would be one solution.

As they doesn't use a water soluble inks/toners?

Or even go and get some Tyvek paper, man that stuff rocks! (but have to get it specially printed :-( )

but seriously, I track my dives on excell, and just take a notebook for the car/dive bag to write the data and take a few notes in.

Could print out the summary page of all dives and laminate it so it doesnt get destroyed on the boat?

(my logs are 100% electronic anyway and my laptop never goes on a boat:)

I made my own pages and just fill it in later when my hands are dry and I am away from water, usually back at the room or some other local.

One thing that stops me from making my own, is where to get a three hole puncher from?
