There certainly isn't much movement in the isolator... but enough that if I did whack something, it could potentially stick out 90 deg backwards... not cool. I agree that movement will put unnecessary strain on the threads and the o-rings...

I certainly intend to replace the nuts... Mostly I was curious about the "belief" in some circles that movement is ok.

Incidently, I posted the same question in the Scubapro/Manufacturer's thread (since this is their manifold) but so far, they haven't answered... I'll link these threads if/when they do...

Thanks for your input. It seems like a fundamentally dumb thing to me. Kinda like having your second stage hanging on the hose by a few threads.
