whats up folks, i'm new to the board and would like your opinions as to where the best kelp beds are for shore diving oc.....i hunt the local reefs at night but want to do the kelp during the day !!!!

There's a pretty large bed off Heisler Park in Laguna Beach right now.
A buddy and I dove a smaller patch from Diver's Cove.

I dove the smaller patch a few weeks ago and it was nice. It actually got pretty dark while under the kelp almost a twilight/night dive until you come out from under it.
