Local diving spots & charters

Having a hard time finding dive sites and charters that dive out of the NYC area. Moving to the NYC area from the Bay Area.

Where are the best local dive sites in the NYC area and best charters to dive with (if via boat)?

Any boats do mako and blue shark dives as well that are good?
