The Tacoma PBS station, KBTC, is airing a 9 minute segment about me and my dive buddy, biologist Bruce Claiborne -- featuring footage from our movie "Return of the Plankton." We talk about Puget Sound diving & food web and I made sure to mention that we have some serious ocean management issues, and that people need to learn more about them so they can become engaged in creating solutions.

The segment is part of KBTC's "Full Focus" show on this Sunday at 11 p.m. (it was also on last Tuesday at 7:30, but I was at the Georgia Basin/Puget Sound Research Conference in Vancouver, so I didn't know) KBTC is available on cable over much of the Puget Sound region.

oops! I guess the joke's on me! My appearance on KBTC was at 11 this A.M., not 11 p.m. But it looks like it might be playing again tonite at 12:30, half-past midnight. Their schedule is not very detailed.
