Newbie here in the process of getting my certification and planning a trip to Belize next year. I have a group of friends who would like to go and their interests range from sitting on the beach and sipping fruity drinks to ocean kayaking, zip lining and some... like myself... want to dive.
How is the crowd during Lobsterfest? I'd like to be close enough to get to some night life but not so close that we are kept up all night.
I am interested in a place to stay that has a nice beach right outside and also access to good dive outfits, kayaks, etc.
Also is it worth it to spend a day to go to the Belize Zoo? Has anyone gone cave tubing? Zip lining?
