well.. everyone went to haleiwa trench sunday..

anyways.. we decided to take baby steps with the emmylou.. so, for the first dive, we just moored to the second reef on the other side of haleiwa trench.. great coral formations out there.. and some new fish i haven't seen at other sites around the island..

the second dive was the highlight! LOBSTER HOLE!
best dive i've done this month!
great viz! awesome wall! and cool cove!
[it's just a couple miles from haleiwa trench]

here's a pic of me just before we descended over the wall..

a big mahalo to dave and the emmylou.. great dives!

Nice pics!:)

Nice picks VblueV. We dove there on Sunday also. I think we saw you out there. We went into the water at approx 0950 for our first dive. Didn't get as many pics as you guys did, but saw a lot of Hydroids as well as 11 turtles at the cleaning station. Our goal was to test the depths and explore the bottom of the wall along the inner reef. Lots of cool stuff down there, and you can reach over 100fsw in the trench.
