Raja Ampat is an excellent destination or Indonesia overall. I have had no reports of coral bleaching and fish are abundant. Other options might be the Socorro Islands or PNG. The Maldives does offer a wide variety of ships and diving is usually good year-round, basically wet season and dry season. We have a charter to Palau for a new moon spawning trip in May 2025. one remaining space on a Maldives Far South trip on the Blue Voyager Feb 2025, Socorros on the Belle Amie in Dec 2025....lots of great choices.

Did you see a lot of bleaching in Raja Ampat?
I saw no evidence of bleaching. Despite the waters of Indonesia being polluted, I was very impressed with the healthy reefs and abundance of fish. I'm returning in February/March 2025.

Got a group on MM I doing a similar trip in August and they are headed to Lembongan Island before the lob and will be diving with Lembongan Dive Center. Searching for Mola Mola.
