Hi fellow divers…

Looking to dive the Philippines Jan 2026. Any recommendations for Liveaboards based on previous recent experiences? Have done multiple Aggressors in Caribbean, Thailand, Palau and Blue Manta in Indo. Any feedback appreciated.

Philippines Aggressor is a large and comfy boat. Crew was good as well as the food from a recent trip. I was on the PA. The PA 2 is a newer boat and looks at least as nice.

Unless I was going to Tubbataha (which is not possible in January) I would do a land based trip.
I love Liveaboards, but I once looked at the itinerary for the Philippines ones and they do different routes all the time. I prefer to have a dive guide who really knows the sites we’re diving as opposed to someone, who dives there every 3-4 weeks. Just my preference, take it or leave it:-)

MY Gypsy from Explorers.PH. I went on a liveaboard with them to Cagayancillo and to Tubbataha. In January 2026 they have a trip from Dauin to Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor and back to Dauin. Max. 8 guests, nice cabins, great food. You could choose to stay at their resort Pura Vida in advance or after the liveaboard.
