I live in the Charlotte area and jump at any opportunity I get to dive. Anyone in the area that frequents the quarries or more local dive sites as well as coastal sites that needs a dive buddy, just drop me a line. I frequent Myrtle Beach and am always in need of a couple divers to help meet the minimum to charter a boat for anyone out there that may be interested.

There are quite a few of us in NC that dive the quarries and coast pretty often. Most every weekend someone is diving and buddies are welcome.

I'm in Charlotte as well. I haven't been able to do much diving in NC due to a lack of a buddy. PM me and I will send you my contact details. I'm always up for a dive, either here or on the coast. Day or night, rain or shine :)

There is a group that meets at Divers Supply on thursday nights to go up to the Lake Norman Quarry. Anyone is welcome. There is usually a mix of experience in the group. PM me sometime I usually try to go up on Sundays.

Hey Dirk and Battles, I'm in the Charlotte area and there is a group of us in NC that dive most weekends. Some get to dive more than others. :D You all shouldn't have any problems finding a buddy. Nice, laid back group with various experience levels.

Also, like Butch said, check out Divers Supply in Charlotte because they dive once a week at LNQ.

There is a group diving at Fantasy Lake in Rolesville this weekend and next weekend. I'm heading up to Lake Rawlings, VA, next weekend to work on skills. You are more than welcome to join us.

Hey--Just a quick note to invite you to Carolina Beach for some excellent coastal diving. You are welcome to come solo--we have lots of solo divers, and we are glad to match you up with a suitable buddy on the boat. IF there is no suitable buddy, one of our crew will dive with you--no worries.

Safe diving!

Hey if you're matched up with a suitable buddy then you're not diving solo. Just nitpicking but I'm glad to find you so accommodating.

Hey AL--You're right, that wasn't careful wording. I should have said "solo travelers" who then become "buddy divers" on the boat--or something like that.

Have fun!

Hey guys, I just shot Cape Fear Divers and email about setting up a trip on April 28-29. Anyone interested? I'll post up more details when I hear back from him. Just wanted to give my Charlotte buddies first right of refusal :)

Butch- Good talking to you at DS last weekend (I was the one asking all the drysuit questions).
