Be aware this is a black sand beach so u will want a chair not just a beach towel... Or not 
Been a few years since I was there, but there was a great place just down the beach - Papa Roosters or something like that? Kind of a sports bar feel. We walked there for lunch every day and taxi into town for dinner. Wonderful place and country! We had a great time. Climbing that hill was a bitch though

We flew direct to Liberia from Philadelphia on US Airways, very convenient. We rented a car, gave us great freedom, including driving into town for dinners. Howler monkeys, tropical birds, lizards give the resort a wild feel. Dive operation is fantastic. Undercurrent review has many more details.
