I would say both are boring, nothing wrong with that. I can't imagine LC being a good place to be when there isn't no diving to be had, there is a *little* more to do on the Brac.

Dive, chill, repeat....................... anyone on the Brac next 2 weeks? We'll be boring it up!

By near, I meant 2 LCBR boats at Jackson's or at Bloody Bay within visual. I agree with keyshunter, they do not moor on top of each other. Have never felt crowded at LC or the Brac, unlike GC where there is a competition for moorings.

While the LCBR boats may spread out, there's Yellow Rose, Southern Cross plus Reef Divers from the Brac, etc ... I've had multiple dives on LC where there was another boat's worth of divers in a "swim by".

Also, it is more noticeable in those Bloody Bay sites where the coral garden is relatively narrow to the drop-off... A good example being Mixing Bowl ...

Plus, the last 20 minutes of a dive in the shallows will have your own boats divers get congregated. Personally, I take this as my cue to go way up into the hard pan ... avoid the crowds. I've sometimes gotton to be as shallow as 5ft ... and I've often found turtles and nurse sharks up here, and in watching their paths, it is behavior to avoid 'noisy' divers.

of course, "crowd" is a relative term. I've gotten spoiled by the Brac and thoroughly enjoy time in the water where there's no more than one or two other divers within sight.

Linger is a very polite word for tying up at Randys or Mixing bowl all bloody day.

Indeed.

It's simple. Little Cayman! I've been to both and Little Cayman is much better.

I have to disagree. We did a jaunt over to LC and apart from the Goliath grouper didn't see what the big whoop was about. Never once saw another diver on he Brac from a different boat and the last week we had a boat to ourselves with the Scuba Shack.

To each there own but I don't see a stay in LC happening for us.
