Attn: Keith
You are incorrect. The owner of the LCDII is on the island right now overseeing regular maintenance and upgrades. She is also being hauled out for bottom paint, which we have done every 2 years both on this the Little Cayman Diver II and her predecessor, the Little Cayman Diver I which ran aground in 1991. The OLD boat(LCDI) has been sold to the marina because we were tired of paying storage on her; they inturn can now take the time to sell her to anyone who wants to rebuild her (we had neither the time nor the inclination to keep running down there to discuss her rebuilding with prospective buyers). The Little Cayman Diver II has NOT been sold and we have charters booked well into 2001 beginning in February. In anticipation of a rough Winter, we thought of running her out of Grand Cayman. We have decided to return to Little Cayman for the booked charters as soon as the work on her is completed. If for any reason there was a delay on that work, we already have a back-up plan to lease a larger boat to put in place to continue the charters UNINTERRUPTED. You take a great responsibility upon yourself to be an unappointed spokesperson for the LCDII. Have you considered the legal ramifications to you if you caused our passengers to cancel due to your incorrect reports. Do yourself a favor and call me at (813) 935-2250 as soon as possible. I want to know where you got your misinformation and your full retraction posted. I do not have email receiving capability on my computer as I only use a guest network.
