I swear I saw a lionfish on the Eagle off of Islamorada a couple years ago but the captain said I was narked. Maybe I was right after all.
 
well, there was definitely one in the dry tortugas in july. you can't kill in the park, so we took a pic for the park service or whoever to kill it since they don't stray far from their area.

You probably were right. Almost every other dive I see a lionfish in the Keys
