Lighting Set-up for Canon Housing

I have several lighting packages that work fine with the G9 and Canon or Ike housings. With the Ike you do have to drill the mounting holes out a bit on the tray (very easy to do).

I'm always available to answer questions, but in defense of trying to support these systems - there are many, many combinations of gear out there (and types of diving and photography as well) and it's difficult to answer specific questions accurately. I can try, with the qualification, that I may not know for sure.

That's why SB is so great, you're sure to run into someone who has.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Ikelite. I had just the opposite experience. I purchased a DS-125 substrobe with an EV-controller from a local dealer. On my first dive trip with the set-up, the controller leaked and blew out the battery on the substrobe. It appeared to be a faulty controller unit. I went back to the dealer and they said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything, that I needed to contact Ikelite directly. I was anticipating a major confrontation with Ikelite to replace or repair the units, but they replaced both the EV-controller and the battery for the substrobe and they were very pleasant during the entire process.

They get very high marks in my book. (sorry to get off topic on this thread!!)
