Just something I found pretty interesting. My 12w Light Monkey canister light has held a charge for 10 years. Got all my dive gear a back after awhile and the last done I done with it was around 2014. And it had been charged prior to that and hadn’t been used since I can’t remember when. So out of curiosity I rotated into the on position and it turned right on. I shut it back down immediately as I was not in the water. Just thought it was pretty neat it held its charge for so long.

I’d guess it pretty solidly fails a burn test depending on type of battery and storage voltage. Figure 80% at absolute best and likely lower.

I am going to drop it in a bucket and drain it. Then charge and test it out to see where it is at.
