Thanx Roak,will discuss with my boys.As far as the reg stuff.I have a hi-vis pink covered g-250 and my 2nd reg is on surgical tube under my chin at all times ,even rec dives.I don't do long hose on rec stuff,but always if deep,dark or deco diving.The pink purge covers for g-250s can still be found in Fla.I don't know of an official view from any of the agencies on'em but I see them a lot on the older guys.The other thing is I dive with mostly folks who've been diving a lot longer than me.I can't imagine one of them panicking(would panic be a sign of strokatoid behavior)I really avoid diving with folks I don't know unless it's in pretty mild conditions.
