I have two BigBlue 1800 lights. I am change the lens from 12o to 80 degrees. Which would be best in caves?

8 - 10 degree, a wide beam is fine for video but you need a tight beam in order to signal your buddy properly.

Yes we know that a narrow beam is best for signaling your buddy...we are talking about video. Posted under the Videography should have been a clue. Thanks anyway.

Depends on the angle of the lens you are using- you want interest ting sweeps of the lights and the lense coverage.
