light blinking in compass mode on D6i

is there any issue with this? I tried on another D6i, it does not have this issue, am I having a faulty D6i set?

Just to update, i had send back for replacement.

as i had tried on another D6i, it didn't have this issue.

I've just tried mine and it also blinks slightly!

However, since it's done 864 dives and this is the first time I've seen this it does not bother me.

mine is a brand new set, therefore they did a one to one set replacement for me.

For your set, i think it is not covered under warranty already right?

anyway since your set is quite old, as long it works as a dive com, less the blinking issue, it is great.

I am having my zoop, and it is kicking hard for the past 2 to 3 years.

It is not out of warranty yet, I just dive a lot.

But I really don't care, as in 868 dives I have never tried to use the compass in the dark and will probably never use it in the dark.

just came back from the shop with a brand new piece.

noted that the strap is made of diff material also. the back of the strap does not have any strips, as i can see on the 1 week old D6i which I had got. Plus the box has changed, looks similar to novo D4i.

looks like i got a older version of D6i previously.

But there isn't any protector on the back of the watch, as i noticed there is minor scratches done by the watch clip. overall, I am quite pleased except some minor cosmetic defect at the back of the watch.
