Sorry for your loss, but glad that his life impacted you and in turn each of us reading this.

As for learning the lessons, for some reason that stuff always seems to get filed away and forgotten by the general day to day stuff and it takes something for us to really remember the kinds of things you mentioned about our time here and what are the more productive and enjoyable ways of spending it.

I lost my oldest brother last year to liver cancer..he had a similar outlook-I often think fondly of him when Im having a bad day and put things into perspective...

Thanks for posting and shareing.Something we all need to think about from time to time...
