There is nothing melodic or soothing about the loud mechanical apparatus that I have strapped to my back when I dive. The wheezing sound of my regulator and the glug-glug noise of my bubbles are sometimes irritating to me. This is why I wouldn't mind having an underwater mp3 player. Or a rebreather.
