I noticed none of the places out there include lunch or dinner. Are the restaurants on site any good?? How about restaurants within the island?? And how much can I expect to spend on lunch and dinner??

Divi has a great resturant (chibi chibi) on location right on the water. Others easy walking distance to town with choices from cheap to expensive. Most food prices seem pretty much on par with home. Most we thought of as pretty reasonable, some comparable to home Many to pick from so you can suit your tastes and wallet. We normally eat breakfast included with resort, lunch usually shop at market for sandwich stuff and maybe add a salad from chibi's. Then after watching the sun go down @ Karel's pier we get dinner in town. PBD SETTING IN NOW:D

At buddy's we ate @ Lion's den (good), Pasa Bon pizza(really good) or drive to town.

they have packages that cover lunch and diner but you'll pay more than you need to and not have as good of food. There are all type of resteruants on the island some very cheap and really good Like Bobbejeans take away it is just a shack with a hidden back patio, don't let the entery fool you the ribbs are to die for and the meal for me and my honey $20 usa, We ate out most meals and averaged about $60 a day for both of us. This coming trip we will eat more meal that we make (maybe)

We used Divi because buddy is not really handicapped accessible. Steps to water and boats. Divi's restaurants are very good. In town there;s a KFC if you really have to but the local places are very good. Except the Chinese place. Not very good at all. Ate there once and it was a mistake. There is a little place off of the square that serves pulled pork sandwiches that are fantastic!

Buddy's has a breakfast buffet (made to order omelettes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, pastries, etc. ) and 2 restaurants... one is lunchtime stuff like sandwiches and soups, but there is always a special like chicken satay or shrimp kabobs which are always a good bet. The dinner restaurant, Lion's Den, is upstairs over the dive shop and excellent. We ate there twice and it was our favorite meals all week. go to the Buddy's website and you can see menus and prices at both: Restaurants

we ate at a few other places downtown and thought food was okay prices a bit high for what you got.

Just got back and will be going back to Buddy Dive in Dec! You can find pictures and trip report on my site! I am in love and if your there do Jeff Davis Memorial! :D
