Over the past few weeks the amount of Leopard Shark action at Julian Rocks, Byron Bay has to be discribed as awesome. I believe its the most amount of Leopards I have seen for the season. Blue, clear warm water and diving in boardshorts also makes for simpely great dives.

Hopefully conditions stay the same for Sundives Underwater Shoot Out in May (http://www.sundive.com.au/about-sundive-diving-at-byron-bay-australia/photo-competition-10/p/53) Looks like alot of prizes and good times to be had.

Here are a few shots taken yesterday with a Nikon D90 and Tokina 10-17mm:

Thanks for posting. I hope to see one of these sharks someday if I ever make it to the S. Pacific. They are supposed to be docile, correct? I'm not an adrenalin junkie, and I have no ambition to swim with tiger sharks or great whiltes, but a nice, attractive, "safe" shark like the leopard shark is one that I like.

Lovely!

Wow. What great images. And the water is so clear!

Wow beautiful shots !! Did you do any color manipulation in photoshop or anything? I really like the one on the bottom.

Five star!!
