Hello everyone,
I thought i would join this forum and leech off the more knowlegeable and experienced DSLR users amongst you I have been using a point and shoot for the last 4 years and have recently purchased a housing for my Nikon D70s, yes yes i know its old and doesnt have many megapixels but hey I already owned one and got a 2nd hand Sea and Sea housing for it that had never seen the water.
Anyway, ive got a 60mm lens and when i was fiddling trying to put the focus gears on it i noticed that they were pretty tight, also on the manual/AF ring there is a metal screw, is this to be placed over the maual/Af release pin on the lens?
As its my first venture into using a DSLR underwater I wondered what the procedure was when putting it all together, focus rings on the camera lens first, then insert into housing, would you put the port on before or after putting in the camera?
Hope to hear from someone soon,
Kindest regards,
OcciferNick
