Just a little additional info. Herman mentioned if you miss your service that the warranty is voided. This is not exactly accurate. I missed my service date and had to pay for both the parts and the labor. BUT my warranty was reinstated and I am now again covered by the part for life as I had it serviced at a SP dealer.

HIJACK. Many people have complained about the hard mouthpiece. Take a look at this one. It is the same design, but much softer, more pliable rubber. While it may not last as long, it is more comfortable.

Just wanted to follow up on this...... I bought one of these from Dive Sports this past week and I will have to say that it's a much softer rubber mouthpiece than the one that the Aqualung came with.

I'll be changing it out and putting the AL one in the 'spare parts bag'.

this should help reduce some fatigue that I got half-way back on the gums during repetitive days of multiple dives each day.
