I'm leaving Sat. on the Norwegian Sea. Stops include Cozumel, Roatan, Belize and Cancun. Still a beginning diver so I'm planning to dive on the ship sponsored dives in Cozumal, Roatan and Belize. Can anyone tell me what to expect?

The Norwegian Sea. Say hi to the dive instructors onboard there. Should be Kyle, Aaron, and Paul. Good guys. Tell 'em Colin from the Wind said hi. The itinerary for the Sea is great for diving. It's a good itinerary to dive all week but if you only dive once, do the Belize dive. I'm pretty sure that the Sea uses the same operator as we did on the Wind. If so....it's a good dive. The operator is Hugh Parkey's dive shop. The dive in Cozumel is awesome too. The operator there is Snorkel Center and Diving. I dove with them off of the ship about a month ago and saw a nurse shark and tiger shark. We went to Palancar Reef and Yucab Reef. Very good spots for photography. Roatan has a basic reef dive trip and then they have a dive with a reef shark experience. The reef around that island is beautiful and untouched but the reef shark experience could be a once in a lifetime experience depending on how often you dive. The reef dive trip is two tanks but the reef shark experience is one tank only. Norwegian Wind went to Grand Cayman instead of Cancun so I can't help you there but I hope you read this soon as it is Sat. and you're probably on the ship by now. Good luck and have fun!

Your NCL Rep,
Colin
