Where are you staying??? Thinking about Roataan in March after Easter..still trying to formulate a last minute plan.....

Will be at Fantasy Island Beach Resort....we are kind of regulars there! Roatan is a great place, wherever you finally decide you are going to enjoy the diving and the people.

Wish you a very good trip with some good weather. Not the crappy weather we had for almost the whole week. We were there Jan 9-16.

so Maggy, how was your trip? I don't remember you posting anything about it.

No, I haven't had time to do that yet. Came home Monday and have been trying to get well after food poisoning from last nights dinner. We were many (know about 6-7) that became more or less sick, but I was worst hit. Threw up like a cat all day (departure day) and it was more or less a nightmare travel all the way back to Sweden. I stopped throwing up in Atlanta, but was weak much longer. Today I had my first real meal.

We had LOTS of rain, bad visibility but I saw my first seahorse and I dove with dolphins.

I will write a report soon and post a few pictures. Don't intend to hijack this thread. Sorry if I did.

I trust the minus 8 degree lows are a mistake. :D

Wow Maggy.....How awful for you......Where did you stay???? Did you pick it up there do you think????

Really! Horrible news. Going in rainy season is cheaper but with risks on the diving, but getting ill is always horrible. Glad you're feeling better Maggy, sorry you had a bad one - but would like to know how it happened if possible, either here or on another thread.

Ditto - we would love to read your Full Trip Report. Just start a new thread. :D
