cyklon_300:
but I've actually ridden *with* Lance before. Tues nite training rides in Austin when he was an aspiring pro...we all left at the same time, but didn't necessarily finish together...

cyklon, What category do you race?

CBulla:
It's a shame that Cycling only comes up once a year on mainstream sports news.

Yes, especially when the only way to get the updates is thru the cycling web sites. Our local cable company does not carry OLN. Sad.

I love the Tour and have been watching it for years - you guys remember LeMonds victory by seconds over Hinault in the last stage..? that was amazing!

Lance is an incredible talent-mentally and physiclly! He has assembled probably one of the most powerhouse teams in history? Their performance yesterday was phenomenal!
Carmichael and Bruyneel are great talents as well!

The time trial up L'Alp de Huez will be awesome!

Once in the mountains Le Train Bleu will be unstoppable!!!

Im off to Bonaire!-Hope they have it televised there!!!

CBulla:
Has anyone ever noticed that, for the most part, people who dive also participate or enjoy many other sports as well?

Does drinking beer and shanking golfballs off into the woods count as a sport? :crafty:

Paul

CBulla:
wstein - I think it qualifies if the shanked shots are as a means of terrorizing those who insist on taking the game serious :D

Well I have ALMOST hit a few people tee'ing up a couple of time. So I guess it is a sport then :eyebrow:

Paul

How about this Race now.. ya'll keeping up with it? BTW, there is a live feed from Le Tour's website that is provided by OLN. I was listening yesterday and you could literally hear it in the announcers voice when Lance took charge of things. And how about Basso????!!!

Tyler pulled out, Jan is falling back, and today's break away's strongest rider is a whopping 37m behind Lance...

Things are shaping up for Lance. He is pretty setting everyon one up I think. The Alps and time trials are left. I expect to see the jersey change hands soon.
