Yep!!!
Whaccha think the Froggies are going to do to keep Lance from making history???

Absolutely not. USPostal has letting them make their run. Those on the break away today are going to really feel it over the next few days.

I'm kind of hoping that Lance doesn't win as to not overshadow the previous 5-tour champions. I seriously don't think he's a better rider than Eddy Merkx or Bernard Hinault. I wonder how well he would do if he were riding the 1986 tour with Lemond and Hinault.

Love the tour, been watching it for years. Lance is looking great this year so far, and I thought he'd be all wore out from partying with Sheryl...

I've been a fan since I was 14 and found out what it was - my current Bianchi is representative of that. :)

Lance isn't neceessarily a better rider, but a very smart rider. Merkx, Hinault, LeMond.. those are his idols man.. how can you ever overshadow those you aspire to be?

It's a shame that Cycling only comes up once a year on mainstream sports news.

Yea, but the popularity of the tour is helpfull. I added a TIVO search for "Tour & France" and it manages to get all the road races...they are labled "the road to the tour"....

but I've actually ridden *with* Lance before. Tues nite training rides in Austin when he was an aspiring pro...we all left at the same time, but didn't necessarily finish together...

I'll definitely root for him and hope he wins a 6th...comparing riders from different eras is pretty futile, cycling is a team sport too, you'd have to factor in the relative merits of the teams backing Hinault, LeMond, etc.

That's only until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard....LOL

I hope Sir Lancelot wins again...and again...and again!

ALLEZ, L.A.!!
