I will be in Tampa delivering work to a customer and need to get some nitrox fills. Can anyone recommend a dive shop near the airport?
(The LDS in Brooksville went out of business and a new store hasnt opened yet)

Divers Supply is my LDS but not really the way you will be travelling. DiveBandit uses this shop: http://www.calypsodiversinc.com/ They aren't in the TIA area but they by an off ramp you will be passing on your way to TIA :D You could literally get off, drop the tanks, and come get them on your way home.

Calypso is good people. I sent a girlfriend of mine to them to get cert'd a few years ago, excellent excellent shop with a very friendly and knowledgable staff

If you need fills for Saturday/Sunday, just bring your empties with you and stop by FillExpress on your way to Avid Diver. They can do your nitrox fills in under 20 minutes while you wait. I promise, you will be impressed. :)

Hey Bill if they are for this weekend, definitely take Brian's advice. :)

Thanks for all the good advice. I tried to get fills at Divers Supply (They are only 3.6 miles from my destination) but they couldnt complete filling them until tomorrow. I wasnt going to be in Tampa Friday so I left without gas!

I went over to Scuba West in Hudson and they filled them while I waited.

I have been to fill express and they are a great fill operation but I just didnt want to push it, driving over, getting fills and catching the boat.

Again, thanks all for you direction. (I did notice tanks in Divers Supply with SB stickers on them and a pile of stickers near the register. Evidence MissD and other board members had been there!)
