My kid brother has finally decided to bite the bullet and get certified. He is in the Air Force stationed out in Washington state. I imagine there is someone on this board from that area. If you are out there, can you send me some info on the LDS out in that area. I am SSI certified, and if there is an SSI program out there that would be great. I hope to hear from anyone with any info. :D

Fifth Dimension in Issaquah has both SSI and NAUI instructors (I'm one of the NAUI instructors).

I believe Silent World in Bellevue is also an SSI shop.

If you can live with a different agency certification, have him go to Ft. Lewis scuba. he will save a lot on gear, air and certifications.

I dont know how far he wants to go... Im about 60 miles North of Seattle... and we have a good SSI LDS up here, let me know if I can help ya with anything... kaylamaskell@peoplepc.com or just send me a PM!

Have a good one.

Actually, you didn't say where in Washington state ... if he's at Fairchild AFB, that's out near Spokane ... about 275 miles from Seattle ...
