I like to buy local even for a bit more money. I really have to disagree with the whole no Warranty debate though. Warranty covers manufacturers defects, which are at best few and far between. I have an Oceanic Reg that was purchased locally and when I took it in for service my lds manager looked at it in disgust and claimed it was impossible to get parts for it. It was purchased at his shop several years ago. So even buying local is no guarantee of service after the sale. Either way do your homework before you buy.
