Apparently there is a lot of sargassum washing up on Grand Cayman after Hurricane Irma:

There was quite a bit, but it has largely been cleaned up by now. There still was a bit of a whiff in the air when I was walking a shelter dog in front of the Kimpton yesterday.... But Governors, Cemetery, Public Beach looked good, and I was having some cappuccino at the Marriott today and also no issues.
