LC in Dec.- Paradise Villas vs SCC

We dove LC Dec '11 for a long weekend and stayed at PV and dove with CCD. We enjoyed our stay and loved the diving. You will have a great time. When we went, a norther was just leaving and we were told there was no diving for a couple days before we arrived and our 1st day out was the first day out for dive ops in a couple days. The seas were rough but the diving great. Weather can be hit or miss in December. You could get calm flat seas or not. If you can fit in some basic breakfast stuff - coffee, rolls, jam etc. it will be a big help. There is a kitchenette and cofee maker. There is no breakfast at the HI but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunches and dinners. We also enjoyed renting a scooter for an afternoon to tour the island. We stopped at SCC and it looked great. Definitely on the high end of expense. Someday. Take a trip to the beach at the tip where you can see Cayman Brac - absolutely beautiful. Can't remember the name at the moment but it my sb picture. Great scooter trip. Enjoy
