I remember someone mentioning doing this in a thread, but don't remember too much about it. Does anyone do this, and does it help? Don't need it myself, but just in case there's that one day that my hands can't stay warm...

I think it was me. I played with it for a while, I even got some latex and nitrile gloves and wore them over fleece gloves and under the drysuit seal. Getting the gloves on was a major PITA. I guess you could not wear anything under them, but then you have no thermal advantage over your hands just being wet. Being dry doesn't help if the only thing between you and the water is thin latex.

I realized that no one else does it because it's dumb. Just spend the $50 or $60 and get some real drygloves with a latex seal, or install some rings (which are really, really cool)
