Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations for latex-free masks, snorkels, and fins due to latex allergies. I know there are neoprene suits and alternatives for seals, but can anyone help me with the other basic equipment? I don't want these allergies to be a deterrent. Thanks!

for mask and snorkel it should be simple: get silicone.

silicone masks are the clear ones; for snorkel, the same: it's either plastic and silicone, or plastic and latex; (and I think some old models are metal and latex).

for the fins ... for example I own a pair of Cressi Frog and they're plastic with latex straps but you can easily have the straps removed and replaced with spring-straps for example.

hope this helped.

If you have a severe latex allegery the equipment that others are wearing can cause you serious harm.

I don't know if you are certified or not, but you will bump into other divers on the boat and will be exposed to their gear and this can trigger a reaction. Just be careful.
