I am trying to plan a long weekend dive trip later in the fall to PCB, FL. Anyone know about how late in the year I can dive PCB and it still have warm water temps – say around 80F? I could go a little cooler – but I don’t want to need anything more than a 3mm full suit. I just got back from a trip so I need my PTO days and funds to both recharge a while before I can head back out.

PCB is within driving distance from Atlanta so it could be a pretty low budget trip.

Thoughts?

Chart says it drops to 70 by Dec.1 and 65 by year end. That's when we hit the Gulf--it then bottoms out at about 55 on the panhandle in Feb. Though I got 44 (!!!) 2 years ago. Time for the 7 mil until March when it rebounds to 65 and shorty time again.
