My son will be moving to Panama City Bch (I fly down tonight to help pack and move). Will there be boats running from there to the Oriskiny??
How long a ride (in hrs).
Should I bring Rec or Tec gear?
Will I be able to rent 100's or 120's or dbls"?
Or will I need to bring "travel bands" for independent doubles?

It's due to sink about May 17th, so I'm told. I don't know what the cost to dive it is going to be? Some estimates are about $200. Afterall, it will be out 20 miles and fuel cost are not cheap. Hope all goes well, and it doesn't laydown on its side.

Lucky him. You are about 3 weeks early. The Oriskany we be served by boats out of Destin and Pensacola. There is some good diving out of Panama City. The Chippewa and the Akkokeek are two of the better wrecks. You also have the Empire Mica which was the premier panhandle dive until the Oriskany
