I don't need to film the hours of hanging on deco.
Some folks do longer than 45mins deeper than 200, follow bottom up and the whole dive is interesting, in caves can travel awhile at one depth to get to deeper spot then travel some more etc. But yeah, if you are doing shorter dives deep up and down a line or hanging under the bag on deco you may not need more than the 45 mins or so. YMMV depending on how you dive

I'm always amazed by the absolutely crap quality videos used to demo the capabilities of ultra-expensive camera add-ons.

I really like that Huygifot XS, but no way in hell I'd buy it based on the videos I've seen coming out of it.

Any updates on this thread? I have just bought the gopro 13 - takes the same housing as the 10,11,12 - and thinking of buying the Isotta. important for me is ability to put on the backscatter macro flip lens.

I'm keen to move on from the plastic gopro housing. I find mine locks up at around 45m. I want to film deeper than that. And you can't buy o-rings seperately - so when youre needing a new one you have to buy a new housing. That is the most crazy thing

I did the IQ sub and it worked perfect for 2 weeks in Bikini. Going to keep it. No plans for changing anything.

Didn't make it to DEMA this year to see if anything new is out.

I got a Carbonarm for Christmas. I've not ha sit in the water yet, but feels very well put together and the seal is very solid and tight. Buttons seem usable and not too stiff, and easy enough to use in my drygloves.

Just looked at the video on their website. Looks a nice solid housing. But i can’t see it has the option for the flip filters. I think it’s the Isotta for me sadly (sadly, because it’s expensive)

There's a similar one from AOI, slightly less expensive - AOI GoPro HERO 9, 10, 11, 12 Underwater Housing & Monitor UH-GPX
Forgot to update this. Saw one in person. Becca from Backscatter brought one to Bikini last year. Impressive. Not sure it is worth investing that much into a GoPro. I think I would be looking at a starter big boy camera first. But if you have that niche where you are going to run a GoPro and want everything available to you, this does it.
