I agree, and we're working on all that (not just talking here), but there's only so much you can do when you're 6'6" and 240 lbs. I think I will always be an air hog as compared to my wife 5'2" 125 lbs. Hence the request for a place that offers large tanks.

Bill: One should never "say never" But I can pretty much say that you will never have air consumption that is like your wife's.
I have the same situation with my daughter and no matter how good I get over time, hers will always be better.
 
I agree with most. I dive 119cf steel in the seattle area, works great, less weight on the belt, longer bottom time. However, when tropical, with a plethora of full 80cf al tanks, why wait for a fill on a larger tank? Often times the techs are not there, or busy elsewhere. I would instead focus on SAC rate, and just dive. The more you dive, the more you will relax, and your SAC rate will improve. I would say its safe to say most of us were air hogs at one time. Get and stay fit, relax, and dive dive dive!
