So I'm a newbie, and I can't wait till I've got some dives under my belt... I spent two days in the pool and can't get enough.

what do you guys do between trips or durring the winter to 'cure the itch'?

Hello , for in between times ..

You could pick up a diving book and read more about the physics of
diving.. I think a good book to start w/ could be

Scuba diving Explained.
ISBN: 094133256X

You could also take a Nitrox class from your LDS, this will also wet your appetite
for diving.

You might also get a kick from reading some Diving Adventure Books:

Deep Descent
Fatal Depth
shadow divers
dark descent

I read these books and really enjoyed them. They also taught me about
some of the technical aspects of diving.

There are also some trips to Blue Hole that you might try and hook up with.

Hope this helps ya

Take some trips...see what your local LDS has coming up....where are you from? Im itching bad to go dive right now..... I have a trip going to the Mall of America in Feb. so this will somewhat calm the itch but by no way cure it or satisfy the need to get underwater....
