Didn't see a lot of SB people out there, but it wasn't too bad today. Cold getting out of the water for once, and viz absolutely sucked in Devils Cove (big surprise).

We went to Starnes Island. Didn't find nearly the trash we have found in the years past.

That is because the Lake Travis Scuba divers clean it while diving during charters. How many pairs of sunglasses did you find? Did anyone find the riding mower?

Riding lawn mower? I don't think so. Has that been seen around Starnes? I myself collected a bunch of cans and found one plastic dive whistle.

The riding mower is on the west side of the island, near the three boats that are currently around 10'.

Did anyone else find the irony with giving away open water certs to the dive volunteers? Or the Randall's shopping spree that the kid won, and Todd Jeffries immediately said, that kid'll be spending plenty of time in the meat isle?

Yes.. our group noted that too.. said it should have probably gone to the shore volunteers.. not the dive volunteers which already had to have the dive cert
