For anyone coming to Lake Travis (glub, glub) this weekend, the lake has come up a little bit (glub, glub) since our little shower yesterday afternoon and evening and night. Lake level was 669.3 yesterday morning. It was 681.8 this morning and rising. Water temp is 70.8 degrees. Keep in mind this is a 64 mile long lake. There is a 70 percent chance of rain today and 60 percent tomorrow. Bring LOTS of dry clothes! (glub, glub)

We had plans to go to Windy Point this weekend with some students. The instructor cancelled because of the runoff effecting the visibility. Glad to see the level rising but we'll try again in 2 weeks.

I pretty much canned plans to go to Travis yesterday also as I was "locked" into work until 8PM, with tornados making landfall way to close to my office.

other than getting higher& colder - It looks OK from the test station!

I sent a message to Aquarena this morning - looks like my plans for Saturday may still be OK.

Cheers
