Lake Brunswick or something. Why would you call it that? People are going to think Arizona. Bad branding.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lake-Rawlings-SCUBA-Park-Rawlings-VA/306231002837869A friend uses the same theme for a Scifi con in Virginia Beach (Ring of Fire con.) And it looks like he is somehow involved in this. Heh. Go figure.
Rawlings wasn't really ashes though, just an all American, the rent is too high, greed battle.
Looks like the park has either a new owner or a new renter (can anyone disclose which?)
Should be interesting!
Yep. If you are an Instructor and have three paying students, your admission is free. Otherwise, you have to pay the standard admission (as far as I can tell from the website). So, I think I will pass on a survey trip to see what the facilities are like. Teaching scuba already costs enough, and the conditions at Lake Phoenix, while somewhat better than FLSP in terms of visibility during the late summer, don't justify a 2.5 hour drive and the price of admission, at least for me. I have never felt that the lake offered such a unique teaching environment that it was worth the drive. Others may see it differently. Are they going to have any instructor privileges (admission, parking, etc) like Dutch Springs?
