Has anyone here dove at Lake Powell? I'm headded down there this weekend, but won't be able to dive this trip, but curious if anyone has dove there, and where they got air, if so. I'm going in at Bullfrog, which is about 100 miles north of the dam. That's where we moor our houseboat. I think it would be great fun to take a diving trip there, and I have seen people dive (both rec and professional), but I'm not sure where they get their tanks filled. I suppose if you put in at the dam, there might be somewhere in the Page area who fills tanks, but don't know of any up at the northern areas. If not, does anyone know if you can (and if it were feasible) to rent a compressor for a week or two? I"m talking the smaller ones, gas powered, that two people could unload from a pickup and onto a boat. I have seen some for sale, but I don't think I'd use one nearly enough to justify a purchase for one or possible two trips a year. Any thoughts?

BTW, if you don't know where Bullfrog is, look for Hanksville, UT, that's the closest city, and follow the highway 276 to the lake.
