After decades of snorkling and wanting to SCUBA. I have just passed the PADI Open Water written exam, waiting for the open water dive.
I am excited and awed by the opportunities here in Ca. for Scuba divers. I am searching madly for the "Right Gear" and hope to hook up with a group of fun ... yet responsible divers. With the internet as an information source, this is a huge task.
I will be lurking about on the forums, until I actually have something to say. If I do chime in, try to be easy on the newby.
I am of Hawaiian and Pacific islands ancestry so this water is in my blood. Hope to meet you all on the water. Aloha and Mahalo!!!
