Two very nice dives at Jocassee today. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Air temp in the 70s and water temp was 49 degrees at the surface and low 40's at depth. Vis was very good. We had 20-30' of vis. We did not need the lights at all to dive in the trees. Dive one was to 104' for 58 min dive time. Dive two (on 80s) was 98' (we stayed deep in the trees a long time on this one) for 41 min dive time. Great day of diving. With the lake up a bit there is a lot more stuff to see on the safety stop swim.

Sounds like a great time . I couldn't handle the 40 degree temps That is just past my level of tolerance :cold: . 48 is where i make my stand diving wet

The trick to diving those temps wet is the surface temps (or Bill's heated boat). We had 70's so we could recoup. We are going again next weekend.I love the shore dive as there is great multilevel diving if you know where stuff is located.
