That would be Kendra Sue. Cheryl is her sister who also teaches diving. She's also a sweetheart! I love diving with them, although it's been way too long since I've seen either.

Remind me to tell you the story of Cheryl & Ken at the helm of the
Shadow back in '86.
 
I know Cheryl for many years, never met her sister. And if I did I don't remember. It's been a number of years since I saw Cheryl.
 
There is a wonderful lady in her sixties whom I met while on Phuket last November, her name is Maritta, never knew her family name.

She's been an instructor since the early '70s and is said to have more than 20000 dives.

She's a kind person and a wonder to find you small things underwater.

She's probably one of the very few to be able to claim a divesite to her name (Maritta's Rock at Racha Noi island just off Phuket).
 
I would love to hear more about Maritta!!! If anyone knows more than Chiara, please speak up! The ability to find & appreciate small creatures makes every dive special, whether or not that whale shark pops in!
